Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Completion of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Active OT license required
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
• Ability to develop and implement effective therapy plans
• Comfortable working with children from diverse backgrounds and with varying needs

Role Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students’ therapeutic needs
• Design individualized intervention plans to address fine motor skills, sensory processing, and adaptive functioning
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers, counselors, and other therapists
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as necessary
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting
• Provide consultation and training for staff and caregivers as appropriate
• Maintain compliance with state and federal education guidelines
