Join us on this meaningful journey where your skills, compassion and dedication will make a remarkable difference in the lives of those we serve.How you'll contributeA Clinical Rehabilitation Specialist who excels in this role:Educate the community on rehabilitation to develop a census through face-to-face contactsDevelop business based on the strategic goals of the rehabilitation programFace-to-face connections within territory to build relationships with referral sources to increase censusIdentifies barriers to the admission process and creates solutions with the assistance of the program directorAbility to review patient medical charts and understand test results, therapy evaluations, pre-existing conditions, and have a general medical knowledge of the patientAbility to clearly and professionally interact with patients, families, and healthcare providers while gathering additional clinical information and past historyConduct thorough patient assessments to identify patients for potential admission into the rehabilitation programComplete detailed Pre-Admission Screens, as applicable, according to facility policies and procedures, Lifepoint policies and procedures, and payer requirements, as applicable.Schedules meetings and arrange in services for medical professionals including potential and existing referral sources, doctors, nurses, social workers and other health care professional.Provide patient updates to physicians, payers, case managers, social workers and other relevant persons.Maintain solid working relationships with new and existing referral sources by providing excellent after-sales service.Other duties as assignedWhy join us…We believe that investing in our employees is the first step to providing excellent patient care. A graduate holding a four-year degree from a college program with a bachelor's degree in a health related, business or marketing area of concentration, nursing or therapy preferred.Previous clinical liaison/marketing/sales experience preferredApplicable and current license to practice in accordance with the state licensure actOther professional licensure considered based on experience and training as outlined in the state licensure actValid driver's license and own reliable transportation requiredA track record of successful experience in a health care setting, strong interpersonal skills, and experience working with physicians, nursing management, discharge planners, case managers, and social workersClinical experience is preferredApproximate time of external liaisons to be in the market territory: 80%Connect with a RecruiterNot ready to complete an application, or have questions?
