Position Overview:

MLR Healthcare is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Medical Technologist to join our laboratory team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of laboratory tests and procedures, ensuring accurate results, and supporting high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform complex laboratory tests and analyses in microbiology, hematology, chemistry, and blood banking.
• Ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results by following established protocols and quality control measures.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, conducting routine maintenance and troubleshooting as needed.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret test results and recommend additional testing when appropriate.
• Document all procedures and results in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Assist in training and mentoring new staff and students.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or a related field.
• Certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or equivalent from a recognized certifying body (e.g., ASCP, AMT).
• Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures, safety protocols, and quality assurance practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
