Hours: 1930 - 0700 7on/7off Job Summary And Qualifications What qualifications you will need: Responsible for the overall operations of the laboratory for the night shift. This includes providing and supervising high-quality lab tests, quality control, preventive maintenance of equipment, computer activities, and collection of specimens. You will coordinate the technical and administrative operations of all sections of the Laboratory. Ensures STAT, routine testing, and critical value reporting meet established turnaround times Performs all Lab Section Management activities to include but not limited to: staff training and development Serves as a liasion between laboratory staff, health care providers, department managers, and health care entities to faciliate communication and coordination regarding services and results. Maintains work schedules and assignments for MLS, MLT, Lab Assistants and Phlebotomists. Accepts accountability for completion of assignments, demonstrates reliability and dependability (including compliance with the attendance policy), and utilizes time and material cost-effectively. Reflects HCA values and it ethical and compliance principles in his/her daily activities (Code of Conduct). +Strong problem solving, management, prioritization, and leadership skills necessary.
