IT Security Engineer

Our client, a leading organization in the technology and security sector, is seeking a dedicated IT Security Engineer to join their dynamic team. As an IT Security Engineer, you will be an integral part of the Security Support Department, supporting enterprise-wide security initiatives and advanced troubleshooting efforts. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization. Job Title: IT Security Engineer Location: Charlotte, NC What's the Job? Support and troubleshoot complex security products, including secure browsing solutions and enterprise browser components. Manage and support Windows and MAC operating systems within a large enterprise environment. Develop and execute PowerShell scripts for automation and troubleshooting tasks. Assist in policy management, URL syntax coding, and modification of RPA scripts. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance security protocols and ensure compliance with organizational standards. What's Needed? Advanced knowledge of Windows and MAC operating systems. Extensive experience supporting large enterprise environments. Proficiency with command line tools and PowerShell scripting. Experience managing Data Loss Prevention (DLP) products and understanding of REGEX (Regular Expression). Direct experience with secure browsing products, including desktop browsers and centralized management backend systems. What's in it for me?
