Senior Geotechnical Engineer

Position Title Senior Geotechnical Engineer Description This role will focus on classical geotechnical engineering including site characterization, soil mechanics, shallow and deep foundations, seepage and stability analyses, earth retention structures, seismic assessment, and soft ground construction. Responsibilities Manage multiple clients, contracts, and projects simultaneously. Perform geotechnical engineering analyses and calculations. Prepare technical reports and documentation. Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and staff. Mentor and supervise junior engineers. Support business development and marketing efforts. Ensure compliance with quality, health, and safety policies. Qualifications BS in Civil Engineering (Geotechnical specialty). MS or PhD in Geotechnical Engineering or Geological Engineering. 14+ years of experience in Geotechnical Engineering. Professional Engineering (PE) and Geotechnical Engineering (GE) licenses in California. Experience in mentoring and supervision.
