Critical Care Nurse Educator- ICU

Critical Care Nurse Educator – ICU/Stepdown Full‑time, day shift position located at Corona Regional Medical Center, Corona, CA. Responsibilities Provide high‑quality, evidence‑based practice to all clinical and non‑clinical staff. Develop, implement, and evaluate policies, procedures, training, and competency validation for all disciplines. Lead onboarding of new team members and conduct training for Nurse Residency, Preceptor Workshop, CNA Workshops, Critical Care Orientation Series, and ICU/SD New to Specialty Programs. Attend department meetings and coordinate with various clinical departments to manage projects as needed. Qualifications Essential Knowledge / Skills – Understanding of educational techniques and adult learning principles; effective communication with staff, physicians, leadership, and ancillary departments; enthusiasm for learning; flexibility to work varied hours. Preferred Knowledge – PowerPoint, Excel, email, electronic medical record. Minimum Essential Experience – Five years full‑time RN patient‑care experience in a hospital; preferred experience planning, implementing, and evaluating educational programs in acute care. Minimum Essential Education – BSN required; Master’s degree preferred. Required Licensure / Certifications – Current California RN license; Current BLS (CPR) through American Heart Association.
