Job Description & Requirements

Med Surg RN (ED/Med Surg Experience Required)

• Shift: 3x12 Nights (36 hrs/week)
• Contract: 13 weeks
• Start: ASAP
• Unit: 12-bed Med Surg
• Patient Ratio: 1:4-6
• Experience: 1+ year ED and/or Med Surg (ED + Med Surg experience required); first-time travelers considered after interview
• Patient Population: Med Surg, intermediate care, outpatient infusions, stroke, MI, trauma
• Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (PALS required, CPI preferred)
• Charting: Epic
• Floating: Within scope of practice
• Scheduling: Self-scheduling with rotating weekends; holidays as needed
• Scrubs: Navy Blue
• Traveler Requirements: Must live 100+ miles from facility; permanent staff must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler
