At Hook It Up, our Servers are at the center of the guest experience. This is a hands-on role where you’ll welcome guests, take and serve orders and help keep the dining area clean and ready for the next guest.

You’ll be part of a close-knit team in a casual, fast-paced environment where everyone works together to keep service moving and make sure guests leave happy.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, portions and quality standards
• Set up and maintain your assigned station before, during and after service
• Prepare ingredients and complete daily prep to support efficient kitchen operations
• Cook fish, shrimp, chicken, fries and other menu items safely and consistently
• Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure food quality and proper preparation
• Maintain proper portioning, presentation and consistency for every order
• Read and execute guest orders accurately while maintaining an efficient pace during service
• Communicate with fellow cooks and front-of-house team members to keep orders moving smoothly
• Properly label, date, rotate and store food products
• Maintain a clean, organized and sanitary workstation throughout the shift
• Follow all food safety, sanitation and workplace safety standards
• Assist with cleaning, stocking and closing responsibilities as needed
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by your direct supervisor, Executive Chef/Owner

• Previous line cook, prep cook or restaurant kitchen experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques and kitchen safety
• Ability to follow recipes, portion standards and preparation procedures
• Comfortable working with fryers and other commercial kitchen equipment
• Ability to work efficiently and maintain quality in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically active work
• Availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
• New Mexico Food Handler Certification or ability to obtain within the required timeframe
