About the Role
Join a Florida-based commercial law firm's real estate practice as a mid-level associate supporting sophisticated transactions across the state. You will work closely with experienced attorneys on complex, developer-oriented matters for a varied client base.
What You'll Do
Handle transactional real estate matters involving acquisitions, dispositions, and financing.
Draft and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, loan documents, leases, and related instruments.
Collaborate with senior attorneys on large-scale transactions and client matters.
Advise on mixed-use developments, condominium redevelopment, transit-oriented projects, and cross-border investment.
Support Florida real estate matters referred by out-of-state law firms, including local counsel work.
What We're Looking For
Three to six years of sophisticated transactional real estate experience at a major law firm or strong regional firm.
A JD from an accredited U.S. law school and strong academic credentials.
Experience with acquisitions, dispositions, financing, and drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, loan documents, and leases.
Admission to the Florida Bar or eligibility to sit for the Florida Bar.
Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues and clients.
Leasing, development, or hospitality transaction experience is helpful.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary is $240,000 to $365,000 annually, depending on experience. The role is eligible for a year-end bonus based on a 1,900 billable-hour target. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and 401(k). Visa sponsorship is not available.
Location
Remote within the United States, with Miami, Florida as the primary location.
