Radiation Oncologist Locum - Outpatient Cancer Centers in Lima & Celina, OH

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Duration: Ongoing coverage with scheduled dates
Shift: Full-time, outpatient setting
Hours/Week: 40 hours
Employment Type: Locum/Temporary
Experience: Prior radiation oncology experience required
License/Certifications: Valid Ohio medical license and board certification in Radiation Oncology preferred

What You'll Do
- Provide outpatient radiation oncology services at cancer treatment centers
- Prescribe, order tests, and review imaging to guide patient care
- Administer various radiotherapy procedures including external beam radiation, stereotactic radiosurgery, and SBRT
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans
- Document all patient interactions accurately within electronic medical records (Mosaiq, Epic)
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout treatment sessions
What You Need
Required:- Medical license in Ohio
- Solid experience in radiation oncology procedures and treatments
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and clinical skills
- Certification in Radiation Oncology or board eligibility
- Familiarity with Mosaiq and Epic EMR systems
- Previous locum experience is a plus
About the Assignment You will join a dedicated team providing outpatient radiation oncology at well-established cancer centers. Coverage is necessary due to provider retirement, with multiple scheduled blocks throughout the year. The centers serve adult patient populations using advanced treatment modalities including IMRT, IGRT, and stereotactic techniques, ensuring comprehensive cancer care. Reimbursements for travel, lodging, and rental cars are included to support your stay.
