Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Margate, FL

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Job Description: The Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for observing, assessing, diagnosing, planning, intervening, and evaluating care for all patients in the surgical setting. The successful candidate will work with a clinical coordinator and be adept at staffing for various specialty service lines.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a variety of surgical procedures.
• Ensure proficient charting and documentation using Meditech.
• Work collaboratively with surgical teams and support staff.
• Participate in on-call rotations as required.
• Maintain a high level of critical thinking and decision-making skills.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an acute OR setting.
• Experience in orthopedics, spine, and joint replacement procedures.
• Knowledge of robotics, vascular, and podiatry surgical procedures preferred.
• PALS and CNOR certifications are a plus.
