Electrical Design Engineer

At Power-Flo Technologies, you’ll be part of a team that designs and delivers complete switchgear solutions. We are looking for you to join our collaborative team as an Electrical Design Engineer. This is a full-time, on-site role.Primary Function:Responsible for design of electrical panels and schematics to meet customer requirements. Provide panel jobs quotes and estimates. Act as project management on panel jobs. Assist with customer technical support. Post-sales support on core products.Design Engineer Essential ResponsibilitiesReview engineered contract drawings and specifications for the design of electrical control panelsDesign and layout of electrical panels using AutoCAD ElectricalEnsure that all panels are being designed and constructed to UL StandardsCreating Bill of Materials for the sales engineer teamCreate testing procedures for specific projects to be used by shop personnelDetermine parameters to program variable frequency drives and soft startersProvide technical support on the products we manufactureDesign Engineer Necessary Qualifications3 years+ experience in the design of electrical systems requiredAbility to use AutoCAD for electrical design work.Hold a degree in the engineering field.
