Security Officer

Overview Silver Shield Inc. currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Security Officer to join our team. The Security Officer will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires strong surveillance skills, conflict management abilities, and knowledge of law enforcement procedures. Shifts Evening, overnight, and weekend shifts available. Responsibilities Patrol assigned areas on foot or in a vehicle to ensure the safety and security of the premises. Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to detect any suspicious activity. Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances. Provide assistance and guidance to employees and visitors in emergency situations. Enforce company policies and procedures to maintain order and prevent unauthorized access. Conduct regular inspections to identify potential security risks or hazards. Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of daily activities. Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when necessary. Skills Strong surveillance skills to effectively monitor premises using CCTV systems. Excellent conflict management abilities to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally. Knowledge of law enforcement procedures, including arrest techniques and legal rights. CPR certification and first aid training to provide immediate medical assistance if needed. Familiarity with loss prevention strategies to prevent theft or damage to property. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Proven work experience as a Security Officer or in a similar role (preferred) Must possess a valid driver's license Ability to pass a background check and drug screening Note: Level II certification assistance will be provided within the first 30 days if not already held. #J-18808-Ljbffr Silver-Shield
