Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

As a fully competent Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will perform repairs, preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery, plant blow mold equipment, and the facility. You will ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards as well as with applicable laws and regulations issued by regulatory agencies.

Pay

$30-$38/Hour

Responsibilities

• Install, adjust, and repair blow mold, trimmers, palletizer, and other related equipment.
• Perform mold, neck tooling changes, pin, and other equipment changes.
• Inspect and replace pneumatic and hydraulic hoses.
• Inspect, rebuild, and replace valves and pumps.
• Perform preventive maintenance on all related equipment.
• Maintain machines in optimal processing condition.
• Weld, fabricate, and repair various machines.
• Troubleshoot, locate root problems, and repair blow mold, baggers, and support equipment.
• May operate blow mold or injection machines.
• Communicate with other departments frequently.
• Receive instructions on specific job tasks from the Lead Industrial Maintenance Technician or Supervisor.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Essential Skills

• Experience in electrical troubleshooting and PLC troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in hydraulics, mechanical, and pneumatics repair.
• Ability to perform preventive maintenance and maintenance repair.
• Knowledge of 3-phase electrical systems, HVAC, and conveyor systems.
• Familiarity with blueprints, schematics, motors, VFDs, and ladder logic.
• Experience with hand tools and installation processes.

• Ability to communicate effectively with other departments.
• Capability to receive and follow instructions from supervisors.

Work Environment

The work environment involves regular exposure to moving mechanical parts in a production setting. Temperatures inside the plant can fluctuate between hot and cold according to seasonal changes. Shift times are as follows: 1st (7 a.m.-3:30 p.m.), 2nd (3 p.m.-11:30 p.m.), 3rd (11 p.m.-7:30 a.m.).

This is a Contract position based out of Atlanta, GA.

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $38.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Atlanta,GA.
