Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,068–$2,215 per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3x12 rotating shifts Start date: 07/05/2026 Setting: Emergency Department in a short-term acute care hospital Orientation: 8 hours non-billable; onboarding including Epic training and leadership orientation Responsibilities Deliver direct nursing care to ED patients, including triage, assessment, monitoring, and intervention Interpret and respond to changes in patient condition; administer medications and therapies per physician orders Coordinate with physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff; assist with procedures and patient transfers Document patient care, assessments, and outcomes accurately in the electronic medical record (Epic) Manage inpatient boarders per unit protocol when necessary; maintain patient safety, comfort, and throughput Communicate with patients and families; participate in discharge planning and patient education Requirements Active RN license in Kansas or Multistate license accepted BLS, ACLS, PALS; NIHSS and Conscious Sedation Competency TNCC preferred Experience: minimum 1 year ED experience within the last 12 months; 2 years ED experience preferred Ability to work in an ED setting; not floating to other units Weekend shifts up to 3 per pay period and holiday coverage as needed per unit requirements Benefits and Support Orientation: 8 hours non-billable Onboarding includes Epic training and targeted ED leadership orientation Local onboarding plan with campus-based orientation and electronic health record training Dedicated assignment support via an account manager Regular schedule communication and dependable travel support throughout the assignment #J-18808-Ljbffr
