About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 19:30 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1.5 years License: RN License required Certifications: BLS/ACLS required Must-Have Skills/Experience: EKG interpretation Critical thinking skills Knowledge of critical drips (vasopressors, sedation) titration knowledge Description: Orientation is bi-weekly. The facility has 294 beds and is Joint Commission Accredited. The ICU unit has a capacity of 16 beds. Patient ratios are 2:1 for ICU and 3:1 for IMU. The equipment used includes cardiac monitors, IV pumps, and bedside dialysis capability. The electronic health record system is Meditech. The patient population is adult. Common diagnoses include COPD, ARF, DKA, Sepsis, and Shock. Teamwork is essential, and a flexible and adaptable personality is preferred. An associate degree is required, with a BSN preferred. No artificial nails are allowed as part of the dress code.
