About the Position

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 4 x 10-hour shifts per week with call rotation

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care across a multi-room OR suite handling approximately 65 cases per day
• Support a wide variety of surgical specialties including General, Vascular, Orthopedic, Neurology, Eyes, and ENT (open heart cases excluded)
• Cross-train and assist in Endoscopy suites as needed
• Operate and assist with robotic surgical systems including the DaVinci Robot
• Utilize Baxter infusion pumps and monitoring equipment in accordance with facility protocols
• Participate in a call rotation consisting of one weeknight call every four weeks (7PM–7AM) and one weekend shift call (Friday, Saturday, or Sunday, up to 24 hours) per three-month contract period

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Hands-on experience across all areas of the Operating Room
• ACLS certification required
• Ability to participate in an on-call rotation including weeknight and weekend shifts
• Valid, unexpired driver's license (copy required at time of submission)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with robotic-assisted surgery, particularly the DaVinci Robot system
• Endoscopy experience or willingness to cross-train in Endo suites
• Familiarity with Phillips and Dynomap monitoring equipment
