Join our team and see for yourself why we are a recent recipient of the Press Ganey Human Experience Guardian of Excellence Award.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:Associate's degree in nursingLicensed as a Nurse to practice in the state of employment.Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)COMPENSATION:Starting base pay is $37 - $42/hr (based on education and experience)$15,000 Sign-On Bonus (paid out over a 2 year period)Shift Differentials:Night: $4.25Weekend Night: $4.75BENEFITS:Medical coverage — Valley Hope pays up to 85% of premiumsDental & vision plans at competitive ratesUp to 27 days of PTO (based on position and tenure)8 paid holidays (including a personal day)Paid parental leave401(k) with employer matchTuition assistance to grow your careerStudent loan repayment supportPublic Student Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) eligible employerHSA & FSA options to manage healthcare costsEmployee Assistance Program (EAP) for added supportAnd more perks designed with you in mind!JOB SUMMARY:Executes prescribed treatments and medication interventions as established for each patient.Implements nursing care in accordance with Valley Hope's medical philosophies, policies, and procedures as well as any other regulating bodies to ensure quality patient care.Conducts detox admissions and provides patient care during patient detoxification process including pre-screening of patients, obtaining physical assessment data and health history, administering detox treatment plans, and monitoring of patient.Records treatment activities and patient observations in patient records accurately and timely; completes paperwork requirements as needed in an accurate and timely manner.Communicates with nursing supervisors, nursing staff, and clinical staff regarding patients' treatment and status.Maintains a safe and sanitary environment applying infection control techniques and universal precautions.Adheres to all policies and procedures regarding patient information protection and HIPPA.Assists with detox admissions and provides patient care support during patient detoxification process including pre-screening of patients, obtaining physical assessment data and health history, administering detox treatment plans, and monitoring of patient.Records treatment activities and patient observations in patient records accurately and timely; completes paperwork requirements as needed in an accurate and timely manner.Oversees non-licensed nursing staff as instructed by and under the direction of the facility Nursing Director.WORK ENVIRONMENT:Residential treatment facility setting; requires walking throughout the facility.Direct contact with patients.
