PIRTEK New Braunfels is hiring a motivated Shop Technician to service, assemble, and install hydraulic and industrial hoses while supporting our shop and field technicians. This position also includes delivering parts, hoses, and supplies to local PIRTEK technicians working in the field as needed , making reliable transportation and safe driving essential.

We are looking for self-motivated, dependable individuals with strong communication and customer service skills. Successful Technicians are mechanically inclined, enjoy working with their hands, solve problems effectively, and take pride in their work. Hydraulic and industrial hose experience is not required—training is provided.

Responsibilities include:

• Assemble and replace hydraulic and industrial hoses.
• Deliver parts, hoses, and supplies to local field technicians as needed.
• Greet customers and answer incoming calls.
• Receive and handle shipments and deliveries.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop.
• Maintain inventory, tools, and equipment.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Enter service information accurately into the company database.
• Follow all PIRTEK safety standards and procedures.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Must be 21 years of age or over.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug test.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Positive, dependable, and can-do attitude.
• Mechanical experience is a plus but not required.

Work Environment:
This is a hands-on position based out of PIRTEK New Braunfels in New Braunfels, TX . The position involves working in a warehouse/shop environment and may include exposure to loud noise, oil, grease, lubricants, and other messy substances. Training opportunities may require travel at no cost to the employee.
