Veterinary Technician For Our Surgical Team

Animal Medical Center of the Lowcountry is hiring a veterinary technician for our surgical team.

Position details:

• Role: Experienced or licensed veterinary technician
• Status: Full-time
• Salary: Negotiable and based on experience & licensure
• Schedule: 5x8-hour shifts or 4x10-hour shifts. Weekends off!
• Requirements: Two years of experience as a veterinary technician

What you'll do:

• Safe and effective patient handling and restraint
• Attentive induction, monitoring, and recovery of surgical patients
• Perioperative and surgical care - including IV catheter placement and intubation
• Obtaining diagnostics - including radiographs, phlebotomy, and sample collection, and performing in-house lab work
• Professional, compassionate communication with clients and staff
• Succinct documentation of patient records and client interactions

What our veterinary technicians bring:

• Two years of experience or a valid veterinary technician license
