Saw Operator Needed in the Great State of North Carolina

Location: Statesville, NC Pay Range: $17.50 - $19.50/hr (based on experience) Schedule: Monday–Friday, 1st Shift (Flexible) Hours: 40 hrs/week (ability to work overtime when needed) Benefits: Full benefits, profit sharing & 401K Contract Lumber strives to build strategic alliances with our builder customers to maximize their efficiency and profitability. Day-to-Day Safely process materials through EWP saw Assist with building loads for transport Place materials in job staging area Maintain a clean and safe work environment Other duties as required by management Identify needed maintenance on equipment Have Fun and Enjoy what you do Skill Set Great Attitude and a Team Player Ability to comprehend and communicate procedures Display willingness to comply with and maintain all safety training and policies Ability to accept direction and be manageable Ability to continuously handle, on average, 55 pounds at any given time Ability to bend, stoop, turn, stretch, push and/or pull different materials (I-joist-LVL/LSL beams) repeatedly Ability to be on your feet for long periods of time Ability to satisfactorily complete Contract Lumber’s forklift certification program Be able to tolerate working environments in extreme temperatures Ability to read a tape measure and complete basic math problems Ability to communicate well with others Hardworking, Motivated, Responsible We offer full-time staff employees a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, wellness, employee assistance, life insurance, disability, 401k with matching, and paid time off.
