How you'll make an impact in this role

Monitor and communicate need for security services throughout assigned area(s).

• Manage and respond to calls and/or alarms and initiate immediate response.
• Coordinate and/or dispatch staff in response to requests for service.
• Retrieve recorded documentation as required.
• Monitor the activities of persons on the premises by way of surveillance systems and communications.
• Initiate communication with team leader/manager when additional staffing support is necessary and assist with resolution of those issues.
• May be responsible and accountable for hiring, training, supervision and performance appraisals of security shift employees.

What minimum requirements you'll need

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

What additional preferences we're seeking

• Preferred Prior experience in: Security operations
• Dispatching or call center work
• Familiarity with radio communications and multi-line phone systems
• Multitasking: Ability to handle multiple calls, radios, and systems at once
