QA Engineer

QA EngineerInsight Global is seeking a QA Engineer to support testing and quality initiatives for connected IoT devices and firmware-based products. This individual will work closely with software engineers, QA team members, and field operations teams to ensure products are performing reliably and meeting business requirements. The ideal candidate has experience testing embedded systems, firmware, or connected devices and is comfortable creating test cases, documenting results, and troubleshooting issues.Responsibilities:Create, execute, and maintain manual test cases and test plansPerform functional, regression, and firmware testing on IoT devicesDocument defects, troubleshooting steps, and testing results and communicate findings to engineering teamsPartner with software engineers, QA team members, and field technicians to identify and resolve product issuesValidate software and firmware releases prior to deploymentAssist with root cause analysis and defect tracking through resolutionSupport the organization's transition from manual testing toward greater test automationContribute ideas to improve testing processes and product quality Insight Global
