Construction Laborer Opportunity

Aerotek is hiring for Construction Laborers in Elizabeth, PA. Paying up to $22/hr WEEKLY Pay!

Job Description

This is an entry-level heavy civil construction role with hands-on training to advance into dump truck driving and equipment operation. You'll perform general labor on active job sites while learning hauling operations. This is a great opportunity for someone who is dependable, hardworking, willing to travel, and looking to build a long-term construction career.

Responsibilities

• Perform general construction labor, site prep, cleanup, and material handling.
• Shovel, rake, dig, lift, and assist with earthwork activities.
• Safely use hand and power tools.
• Assist truck and equipment operators with spotting and material movement.
• Train on dump truck operation and hauling procedures.
• Follow all job site and company safety requirements.
• Travel to project locations and work 1012 hour shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding outdoor work.
• Willingness to travel and work extended shifts.
• Strong attendance, reliability, and work ethic.
• Construction, landscaping, farming, mining, or oil & gas experience is a plus.
• Interest in learning dump truck and heavy equipment operation.
• No CDL or special certifications required to start.

Work Environment

Outdoor, field-based work on heavy civil construction sites. Typical schedules are MondayFriday with 1012 hour day shifts, depending on the project. Travel to different job sites is required.

Job Type & Location: This is a Contract position based out of Elizabeth, PA.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
