Job DescriptionJob DescriptionCNC Press Brake OperatorNew Tech Metals is seeking an experienced and dependable CNC Press Brake Operator to become an integral part of our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating CNC press brakes and forming equipment, be comfortable reading blueprints and work instructions, and take pride in producing quality parts to customer specifications.Shift HoursFirst ShiftMonday–Thursday: 6:00 AM–3:00 PMFriday: 6:00 AM–12:00 PMSecond ShiftMonday–Thursday: 3:30 PM–1:30 AM$1.00/hour shift premium30-minute paid lunchDuties & ResponsibilitiesOperate, program, set up, and change tooling on CNC press brake equipment.Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, sketches, work instructions, and product specifications.Set up machines and tooling to produce parts according to customer and company requirements.Form and maneuver sheet metal components safely and accurately.Operate small hand tools such as grinders, buffers, and sanders as required.Inspect finished and in-process parts for conformance to specifications.Accurately count parts and complete required production and quality documentation.Follow department routings, work instructions, and established manufacturing procedures.Maintain an efficient workflow while meeting production requirements.Work effectively with team members and other departments to resolve issues and maintain production flow.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, including machine surfaces and surrounding areas.Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and waste reduction.Maintain excellent attendance and punctuality.Follow all company safety policies and wear required personal protective equipment, including safety shoes, safety glasses, and hearing protection.QualificationsPrevious manufacturing experience required; CNC press brake, manual forming, or related metal-forming experience preferred.Experience operating and setting up CNC equipment preferred.Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints, drawings, and schematics.Ability to use basic measuring and inspection equipment.Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.Ability to work efficiently in a production environment.Ability to stand for extended periods and repeatedly lift, bend, reach, and maneuver sheet metal components.Ability to safely handle the physical demands of the position.Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.What We're Looking ForWe are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, pays attention to detail, works safely, and wants to be part of a team committed to quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement.Join the New Tech Metals team and put your skills to work in a company where quality matters.\nCompany DescriptionNew Tech Metals is a veteran-owned, family-owned small business supporting the U.S. Military and critical domestic industries through the manufacture of precision metal components and finished products for OEMs and Prime Contractors nationwide.Our work supports programs in Defense, Transportation, and Machine & Equipment Building.
