Line Cook Position

Mama Bird Southern Kitchen is looking for motivated and talented line cooks to join our team in West Jordan, UT! We're hiring for both full-time and part-time positions.

We're open seven days a week, serving up delicious breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We're seeking individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment, take pride in their craft, and are passionate about great food and hospitality.

Pay rate: $18 - $22 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Performs all culinary duties and responsibilities to achieve overall success of the operation.
• Prepares food orders for guests using prescribed recipes and standards.

Requirements:

• Must have a basic understanding of English and the ability to communicate effectively in English
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Knowledge of and ability to consistently prepare all food recipes and sub-recipes as instructed
• Ability to expedite tickets accurately and timely, and read/understand the kitchen monitors or printed tickets, behind the cooks' line.
• Proper cooling and storing practices per health department rules and regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to follow directions in a fast-paced environment; manage time effectively, and work well in a team environment.
• At all times during employment, you must have a valid State Health Card and any other government-required cards.
