Wealth Management Associate

Garry Executive Search has been retained by a well-established, independent financial services firm in the Twin Cities to recruit a Wealth Management Associate to support a growing advisory practice. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in wealth management client service who is independent minded, thrives in a low-hierarchy, high-autonomy environment, and wants to build a long-term career supporting a high-performing advisory team. This role works directly under the firm's Director of Client Services, supporting a practice that is heavy in retirement planning and serves a client base with a strong concentration of medical professionals. The WMA is a critical operational partner to a big-picture, relationship-focused advisor, owning the day-to-day account and client service work that keeps the practice running smoothly. This is a permanent, non-corporate environment built on autonomy and trust, not a stepping stone role. What You'll Be Doing Support day-to-day account opening and servicing for insurance, annuities, investments, and 401(k) products Process account trades and other transactions as directed by the advisor (with proper licensure) Prepare information for client meetings and manage follow-up tasks afterward Maintain and manage the client relationship database Identify and implement process improvements Coordinate with broker/dealer and other service providers to resolve issues and ensure efficient workflow Maintain files in accordance with compliance and record retention policies Provide superior, high-accountability client service across a high volume of client relationships Background They're Looking For Active Series 7 and 66 (or Series 65) securities licenses preferred Previous securities or financial services experience Comfortable working independently with minimal oversight in a non-corporate, low-hierarchy environment High accountability, self-sufficient, able to take ownership and run with it Organized, accurate, and detail oriented Strong verbal and written communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Ethical, able to maintain confidentiality Wants to grow long term with the firm, values longevity over a transactional role $75,000 - $100,000 Profit sharing and 401(k), typically between 5-6% 15 days of PTO for first full year of employment 11 paid holidays Health insurance, employer pays 75% of premiums for employee Employer paid long-term and short-term disability Employer paid life insurance Why This Role Stands Out Tons of autonomy, no micromanagement High-performing, low-drama team with an established growth plan in place Big-picture, relationship-focused advisor who relies on and values strong operational support Flexible scheduling, work gets done without a rigid corporate structure Long-term runway for someone who wants to grow with the practice Garry Executive Search is dedicated to providing exceptional recruiting services to wealth management firms.
