Job Summary
A growing warehouse and logistics operation in Carson, CA is seeking a Receiving Clerk, also known as a Dock Receiving Associate, for a temp-to-hire opportunity in the receiving department. This role is ideal for a dependable warehouse professional with receiving, dock, shipping, or materials handling experience who enjoys staying active, working with a team, and keeping warehouse operations moving efficiently.

The Receiving Clerk will support inbound freight, verify shipments, handle warehouse documentation, and use an in-house warehouse system after training. This opportunity offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, hands-on training, supportive supervision, and the potential to grow into a long-term role with a stable team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and process inbound shipments on the dock according to warehouse procedures.
- Verify boxes, materials, and shipment details for accuracy and report discrepancies as needed.
- Use an in-house warehouse system to enter, track, and update receiving information.
- Move, organize, and stage product in the warehouse while maintaining a safe and clean work area.
- Handle boxes and materials that may weigh over 50 lbs. as part of daily receiving operations.
- Communicate with the Receiving Supervisor and warehouse team to support timely and accurate workflow.

Compensation and Benefits
- Pay: $22.00 per hour.
- Job Type: Temp-to-hire.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm.
- Overtime: Must be open to working overtime when needed.
- Location: Carson, CA.
