Senior Group Manager - Specialized Industries (Healthcare) page is loaded## Senior Group Manager - Specialized Industries (Healthcare)locations: Work From Home United Statestime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Yesterdayjob requisition id: 19795**Position Title**Senior Group Manager - Specialized Industries (Healthcare)**Location**Nationwide, MI 48098**Job Summary**Lead a Team of Senior Relationship Managers as a “player/coach” with responsibilities for new business development of companies nationally within the Healthcare sector, covering all aspects of healthcare including, but not limited to, Pharmaceutical, Life Science, Specialty Physician portfolios, Laboratories, Medical and Dental Services Organizations, portfolios of Outpatient Care Centers, medical equipment, manufacturing, distribution companies and other services supporting healthcare providers.**Job Responsibilities:*** Lead a team of Relationship Managers* Responsible for talent management functions including: employment, performance evaluations, staff development/training, disciplinary actions, succession planning and ensuring all staff comply with compliance requirements.* Provide ongoing guidance, knowledge to the Relationship Managers* Develop close relationships with clients and cross sell the various bank capabilities* Develops prospects from current and past commercial clients, referral leads, and other sources* In conjunction with the Sponsor Finance team, develop and maintain relationships with private equity firms with healthcare practices.* Cultivate relationships with other Bank’s Capital Markets / Syndications teams to enable participation opportunities in the various Healthcare industry sectors* Responsible for the efficient and team-oriented service of clients including timely processing of operations such as opening of new accounts and funding of loans* Analyzes and resolves problems pertaining to the underwriting, structuring, approval and ultimately closing of all new loans generated from their Team.* Manage and lead ongoing portfolio/asset management for all assigned credits to ensure compliance in all areas, including but not limited to, financial reporting, covenant compliance, timely payments, constant communication with the client and within the bank* Asset management in conjunction with the portfolio management team and credit partners* Responsible for group’s adherence to all bank policies and procedures; maintain compliance with established internal policies, and all applicable laws and regulations* Uses independent judgement and discretion to make decisions based on a deep understanding and experience lending to the Healthcare industry.* Performs special projects, and additional duties and responsibilities as required.* Consistently adheres to regulatory and compliance policies and standards linked to the job as listed and complete required compliance trainings. Accountable to maintain compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.**Required Qualifications:*** Bachelor’s Degree* 10+ years of experience, required, specific to healthcare banking* Experienced at networking and prospecting new clients and establishing relationships* Proficient use of Microsoft office products, including Outlook, Word and Excel* Excellent customer service skills* Excellent verbal and written communication skills* Ability to work and lead a team independently* Strong negotiation skills* Strong credit skills**Preferred Qualifications:*** Education level preferred: Master's Degree (or Postgraduate equivalent)* 15+ years of experience preferred.* Successful Leadership experience in a similar Commercial Banking environment.**Job Competencies:*** Interpersonal skills that Lead the team to achieve, and exceed, all stated financial goals.* Entrepreneur mindset that drives the development of a large loan portfolio that generates returns meeting the Bank’s expectations, all within the confines of a conservative credit culture.* Professional demeanor and experience working across numerous internal departments and lines of business to achieve stated goals.* Demonstrates a strong ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders by communicating clearly, engaging in proactive collaboration, and leveraging cross functional insights.
