Labor & Employment Associate Attorney

A respected Chicago-based law firm is seeking a Labor & Employment attorney to join its growing employment practice. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years' employment law experience, including client counseling, policy guidance, employment agreements, workplace investigations, compliance advice, and employment-related disputes. Responsibilities Counsel employers on day-to-day employment issues, including hiring, discipline, termination, leaves of absence, wage and hour compliance, restrictive covenants, and workplace policies. Draft, review, and revise employee handbooks, employment agreements, separation agreements, restrictive covenant agreements, and related workplace documents. Advise clients on compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws. Assist with or manage workplace investigations and provide practical guidance on employee relations matters. Handle employment-related disputes, administrative charges, and litigation support as needed. Develop and maintain strong client relationships and provide practical, business-oriented advice.
