In-House Counsel for Strategic Transactions

As a newly created position within the Legal Department, the full-time remote Director, Strategic Transactions will manage M&A transactions, investments, and strategic partnerships, collaborating closely with the Chief Strategy Office and legal leadership to drive deal processes from negotiation to post-closing execution. Key responsibilities Lead legal due diligence and coordinate with various functions to communicate findings and risks during M&A transactions Support corporate venture capital programs and manage outside counsel relationships for strategic investments Negotiate and draft strategic commercial and technology transactions while assisting the broader Legal Department on high-priority tasks Required qualifications 5+ years of legal experience in M&A, preferably with in-house or outside counsel experience in strategic acquisitions Proven ability to independently negotiate and manage complex strategic transactions Strong process orientation and comfort with utilizing AI and technology in transaction support Active bar membership in good standing with eligibility to practice as in-house counsel Demonstrated growth mindset and initiative in tackling unfamiliar challenges
