Description

• Perform evaluations in either inpatient or outpatient environments and craft personalized treatment strategies
• Deliver physical therapy treatment that emphasizes mobility, strength, balance, and overall function
• Work alongside nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation specialists to maximize patient outcomes
• Guide patients and their families in understanding therapeutic objectives, planning for discharge, and home practice routines
• Record evaluations, treatments, and patient progression in accordance with organizational and regulatory standards
• Engage in care team discussions and interdisciplinary meetings to ensure seamless patient care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent from an accredited institution

Certifications

• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification is preferred
