Travel RN - ICU

American Traveler is hiring an ICU RN for a night shift contract position requiring an active AK RN license and at least 2 years of ICU experience.

Requirements

• Active AK RN license required prior to starting; can apply prior to licensure being finalized
• Minimum 2 years of ICU RN experience required, 5+ years preferred
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required

Responsibilities

• ICU/CCU unit setting in a hospital, recognized as an AACN Gold Beacon awarded unit
• Night shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts per week
• Three weekend shifts required per schedule period
• Floating required during slow periods to work as a functional nurse
• On-call not mandatory but helpful
• Holiday coverage required
• Free 1-bedroom housing available for a single occupant; pets not permitted in housing units
• Optional housing allowance available for those not utilizing provided housing
• A vehicle is recommended for transportation due to winter conditions; car allowance available
• Fingerprints must be mailed to the Alaska Department of Health and Services within 48 hours of offer acceptance
