This is why we are committed to equal rights and treatment worldwide and never lose sight of the aspects ecology and sustainability when manufacturing our products.Position SummaryThe General Manager is responsible for the overall management, performance, and development of a vertically integrated manufacturing and service business of approximately 100 employees and annual sales volume of approximately $25M. This role leads the turnaround and future growth of the company across sales, engineering, foundry, machining, assembly, testing, and service, while driving profitability, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction within a global operating environment.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Leadership & StrategyLead the overall performance, management, and development of the company.Develop and execute the business strategy to drive profitable growth, expand share in core and adjacent markets, and support product innovation.Drive strategic initiatives that ensure sustainable profitability for the company while supporting the Reverse Engineering Center of Excellence for KSB America North.Align business priorities with broader business unit, group, and enterprise objectives.Operational & Financial LeadershipFull P&L accountability for the business and deliver strong financial results through disciplined, results-oriented leadership.Lead and inspire cross-functional teams to achieve operational excellence through lean management, accountability, and continuous improvement.Oversee business planning and monthly rolling forecasts across all facilities, using financial and operational data to guide decisions and measure progress against objectives.Ensure full compliance with applicable laws, corporate guidelines, and internal procedures.Culture, Talent & Organizational EffectivenessFoster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement across the business.Build a high-performance organization that promotes engagement, accountability, empowerment, and strong cross-functional teamwork.Develop, coach, and retain talent through visible leadership, performance management, succession focus, and continuous feedback.Lead change effectively and influence across functions and levels to align teams around business priorities.Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion across all levels of the organization.Customer & Market LeadershipDrive a customer-focused culture that supports responsiveness, service quality, and long-term customer relationships.Apply strong commercial judgment, negotiation skills, and market awareness to strengthen business performance and customer satisfaction.Maintain familiarity with heavy industrial markets, including chemicals, petrochemicals, and energy.Represent the company internally and externally with professionalism and authenticity.Industry & Technical UnderstandingApply strong technical and operational understanding of pumps, rotating equipment, repairs. Also manufacturing processes in a foundry and machining environment.QualificationsRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in industrial product manufacturing and service business operations.Proven experience leading cross-functional leaders and teams in a complex operating environment.Strong strategic thinking, business acumen, and financial leadership capability.Ability to assess operational and financial performance and translate insights into action.Sound decision-making skills, including effective delegation and accountability.Demonstrated strength in performance management, talent development, and organizational leadership.Excellent communication, collaboration, and influence skills across all levels of the organization.Fluency in English.Inclusive and empowering leadership style.Preferred QualificationsMaster’s degree in Business or Engineering.Technical degree or relevant technical background.Additional language proficiency.KSB Group is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
