Salary: $70,000 – $95,000 per year, depending on experience

Our client is a well-established Long Island estate planning and elder law firm, known for a personal, client-focused approach. The practice helps families plan for every stage of life, including wills and trusts, asset protection, special needs planning, long-term care planning, and estate administration and probate.

The role

We're recruiting an experienced Estate Planning Paralegal to join the firm's Long Island office. You'll work closely with the Partner and support the wider legal team, helping to deliver high-quality, client-focused work. The firm is ready to hire quickly for the right person.

Responsibilities

• Draft and prepare wills, trusts, powers of attorney, health care proxies and related estate planning documents
• Support the Partner and attorneys with client matters from intake through to completion
• Assist with estate administration and probate matters, including preparing and filing court documents
• Coordinate document signings and communicate with clients, financial institutions and other professionals
• Maintain accurate case files and keep matters moving to deadlines
• Provide general administrative and legal support to the wider team

Requirements

• 2+ years of paralegal experience in estate planning law (preferred)
• Law firm experience of any size
• Strong drafting, organizational and attention to detail skills
• Clear, compassionate communication with clients, many of whom are navigating sensitive family and health situations
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal practice management software
• Willing and able to work fully on-site on Long Island
