Enjoy a daytime schedule; our hours of business are from 6:30 am -2:30 pm.

• Weekends and holidays are required (that's when we are the busiest!)

What You'll Be Doing:

• Prepare and cook menu items according to Big Biscuit recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines
• Set up, stock, and maintain all line stations before, during, and after service
• Ensure food is cooked to proper temperatures and served promptly
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the line, prep areas, equipment, and storage spaces
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and allergen‑handling procedures
• Assist with prep work, portioning, labeling, and rotation of ingredients
• Communicate clearly with expo, servers, and fellow cooks to keep service running smoothly
• Monitor product levels and notify management when items need to be prepped or ordered
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and report any maintenance issues
• Support teammates during peak periods to ensure fast, accurate ticket times

What Makes You a Great Fit:

• Prior cooking or line experience preferred, especially in a high‑volume environment
• Strong understanding of basic cooking techniques and kitchen safety
• Ability to follow recipes and maintain consistent quality
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to stay calm and organized during busy service periods

  Physical & Lifting Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift (typically 4–8 hours)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds (bus tubs, trash bags, stacks of dishes, equipment)
• Frequent bending, reaching, scrubbing, and working around hot water and steam
• Ability to work in a warm, humid dish area with constant movement

Work Environment

• High‑volume breakfast and lunch service
• Exposure to hot water, cleaning chemicals, and continuous noise
• Requires strong teamwork, communication, and a positive, dependable work ethic
