Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, and implement personalized physical therapy programs for patients in a 130-bed rehab facility
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop comprehensive care plans and achieve optimal patient outcomes
- Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques, exercises, and home care activities
- Monitor patient progress, adjust treatments as needed, and maintain accurate documentation
- Contribute to a positive, healing environment for both short-term and long-term rehab patients
Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapist license in the state of Maryland (or eligibility to obtain one)
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
- Experience in a rehab, long-term care, or similar setting is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of physical therapy principles, modalities, and treatment techniques
- Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Proficiency in documenting patient care in electronic medical records
- Team collaboration and patient education skills
- Time management and organizational abilities
