responsibilities:

• Perform high-complexity clinical testing and analyze patient specimens according to strict SOPs.
• Document all quality control activities, instrument calibrations, and equipment maintenance.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and document corrective actions for any test system deviations.
• Report STAT and critical results promptly to clients following established department protocols.
• Maintain complete, meticulous records of all testing performed on-site to ensure compliance.
• Adhere strictly to CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA, and company safety guidelines.

 
qualifications:

Required:

• BS/BA in Chemistry or Biology with a minimum of 1 year of high-complexity clinical laboratory experience OR a degree in Medical Technology/Laboratory Science.
• National certification (or eligibility) as an MT/MLT from ASCP or AMT.
• Valid National and State laboratory licensure as required.
• Proven knowledge of QC/QA protocols across all core laboratory departments.
• Solid computer proficiency and the ability to adapt seamlessly to multiple computer systems.
• Medical Clearance: Current Flu shot (Aug-Apr), TDAP, Varicella, MMR, and negative TB Test.

Preferred:

• 1 year of clinical experience utilizing Sunquest or DI Laboratory Information Systems (LIS).
• Hands-on experience with Vitros analyzers, Siemens platforms, Sysmex XN systems, and Blood Bank protocols.
