Occupational Therapy Assistant

Job Summary:
We care for our residents like family at Aventura at the Bay, and we're seeking a dedicated and skilled Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our compassionate and professional team. As an OTA, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients, from rehabilitation to daily living activities, to help them achieve optimal function and independence.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with occupational therapists to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, therapies, and interventions
• Assist patients in developing, improving, or maintaining the skills needed for daily living and work activities
• Conduct patient evaluations, assessments, and treatments in a SNF setting
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment plans
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination
• Participate in in-service training and continuing education to stay current with best practices and industry developments

Requirements:

• Associates Degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant Studies or related field
• 0+ years of experience, with a strong desire to learn and grow in a dynamic healthcare environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team-driven approach
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered focus

Work Environment:
• Per Diem schedule with flexible hours to accommodate patient needs
• Collaborative and supportive team environment, with ongoing training and education
