Public Entity Paralegal

Public Entity ParalegalHall & Evans, LLC, one of Colorado's oldest and most reputable trial firms, currently has an opportunity for an experienced Public Entity Paralegal in our Downtown Denver office. This position requires a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.This position can offer a hybrid working schedule (3 days in-office and 2 days remote) after successfully completing the training period.Requirements:Civil litigation experience with a defense firm, preferred;Colorado civil litigation experience, required;Minimum 5+ years of relevant paralegal experience;Experience in civil rights litigation, highly preferred;Obtain, review, and analyze records, including employment, financial, and other relevant documentation;Prepare summaries of case-related records and materials;Draft pleadings, discovery, and routine correspondence;Experience billing time;Well-developed writing and research skills;Intermediate to advanced skill level in Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and Outlook;Ability to stay focused on numerous details while maintaining a high level of accuracy;Anticipating attorney's needs, identifying problems, and finding solutions;Ability to work with limited supervision, independently or with a team;Ability to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships with a wide variety of people;Ability to exercise a high degree of tact, discretion, and sound judgment;Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize a high-volume workload to meet time-critical deadlines;Exceptional interpersonal skills with a mature, professional, and personable presentation and demeanor;High level of integrity and personal accountability;Flexibility to work overtime as necessary to meet deadlines;Excellent attendance and reliability;ABA Paralegal Certificate, preferred;Bachelor's or Associate's degree, preferred, and;Ability to lift 25 lbs. when necessary.The hiring range for this position is $55,000 to $93,400 annually.This position will be posted until August 28, 2026.Are we the right fit for you?
