THIS POSITION REQUIRES AN ENLISTMENT IN THE U.S. ARMY OR ARMY RESERVE
As a Wheeled Vehicle Mechanic, youll supervise and perform maintenance, repair, and recovery operations on wheeled vehicles and select armored vehicles that serve the Army in a variety of mission-critical roles. Youll inspect, service, maintain, repair, replace, adjust, and test wheeled vehicles, material handling equipment systems, subsystems and components, and automotive electrical systems, including wiring harnesses and starting and charging systems.
Skills youll learn align with Maintenance & Repairs, Electronic Troubleshooting, Electrical Systems. In addition, there are 124 nationally recognized certifications available to earn!

Job Duties
Tasked with keeping the Armys vehicles and machines in proper running order
Inspect, service, maintain, repair, replace, adjust and test wheeled vehicles, material handling equipment systems, subsystems and components, and automotive electrical systems
REQUIREMENTS
10 weeks of Basic Training
14 weeks of Advanced Individual Training
U.S. Citizen
17 to 42 Years Old
High School Diploma or GED
Meet Tattoo Guidelines
No Major Law Violations
