Brief Description Exciting Opportunity: Facilities Manager at LB&B Associates Inc. LB&B Associates Inc. is thrilled to announce an opening for a facilities manager to oversee our contract providing operations and mechanical maintenance services at US Census government facilities in Suitland, MD. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree preferred At least 5 years of recent (within the past 7 years) experience managing and supervising mechanical maintenance operations for large facilities (1,000,000 sq. ft or greater under one roof) Key Responsibilities Direct the operations and maintenance (O&M) of all buildings covered by the contract Lead skilled trades, administrative, and support staff ensuring consistent, high-quality service Monitor, train, evaluate, and guide facilities personnel Oversee machinery, equipment, electrical, and mechanical systems Develop and implement preventive maintenance (PM) plans and recommend predictive projects Negotiate O&M contracts and manage vendor relationships, including qualifying new vendors Authorize purchases and manage maintenance supplies and repair parts Inspect grounds, buildings, and equipment, reporting needs for repair and replacement Ensure proper use of the CMMS for all contract buildings Meet regularly with customers, provide contract updates, and deliver required reports Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, building automation systems, and computerized maintenance management systems Maintain an excellent record of customer satisfaction Perform other duties as assigned The requirements listed above are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
