Plant Electrician

Perform general electrical maintenance on forklifts and other machinery. Inspect transformers, circuit breakers and other electrical components. Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices. Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, or fixtures. Follow National Electrical Code, state and local building regulations. Conduct circuit breaker corrective maintenance. Use the SAP system for work order management, time entry, and material requisition. Collaborate with the team to identify machinery problems and develop efficient solutions. Train and mentor apprentices to foster the next generation of electricians. Adhere to all quality and safety codes. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years proven experience as an electrician. Experience in the Tech Services industry. Experience with forklift operations and maintenance. Proficient in using electrical and manual tools (e.g., wire strippers, voltmeter). Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines. Excellent critical thinking and problem‑solving ability. Excellent physical condition and flexibility to work long shifts and overnight. Diploma in relevant vocational training or completed apprenticeship as an electrician. Valid license to practice the profession. Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP system. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, power generation, blueprints, maintenance and repair.
