Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our experienced nursing team. As an LPN, you will provide high-quality, resident-centered nursing care while supporting nursing staff, promoting teamwork, and maintaining a positive and professional environment. Responsibilities: Provide nursing care in accordance with facility policies, established care plans, and safe nursing practices. Supervise Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and nursing support staff on assigned units. Administer medications and treatments as ordered. Monitor residents' conditions and promptly report changes to the appropriate healthcare professionals. Accurately transcribe and carry out physician orders. Participate in resident admissions, discharges, and transfers. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of resident care. Promote teamwork, professionalism, and effective communication among staff. Provide compassionate, resident-centered care while protecting resident dignity, safety, and rights. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support positive resident outcomes. Follow infection control, safety, and facility policies and procedures. Qualifications: Current, unencumbered Massachusetts LPN license required. Graduate of an approved LPN program. Strong communication and critical-thinking skills. Ability to handle challenging situations professionally and with tact. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative healthcare team. Skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferred.
