Our team of radiation oncologists, dosimetrists, physicists, therapists, and nurses are all specially trained to treat specific cancers and we work side-by-side with other Johns Hopkins experts, including surgical oncology, medical oncology, pathology, and interventional radiology to create individualized treatment plans for each patient, using targeted technologies including Proton Therapy and procedures such as Brachytherapy. Sibley Memorial Hospital is searching for a Lead Dosimetrist in Photon. As a Lead Dosimetrist you will: manager the dosimetry team which includes organizing daily activities, coverage, personnel, and staff training/development needs assist in the creation of the highest quality radiation therapy treatment plans create and monitor key performance metrics refine or implement new treatment planning procedures and policies act as a liaison with oncologists and physicists What Awaits You: Career growth and development Employee tuition and dependent tuition reimbursement Generous PTO plan Affordable comprehensive benefits package Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree Completion of a JRCERT accredited dosimetry program Current registration by the Medical Dosimetry Certification Board (MDCB) as a Certified Medical Dosimetrist (CMD) Seven (7) years of Radiation Oncology experience Shift: Full Time (40 hours) Day Shift Important Notices: Approved remote states include Maryland, DC, Virginia and West Virgina. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
