Claims Manager Honolulu, HI $55,000 - $80,000 Annually (Based on Experience) Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, and Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Lead a Claims Team Where Accuracy, Efficiency, and Quality Matter Are you an experienced claims professional with strong leadership skills and a commitment to accuracy and operational excellence? Our client is seeking a Claims Manager to oversee the daily operations of a busy Claims Department. This role is ideal for a hands‑on leader who can develop employees, improve processes, maintain claims systems, and ensure the department meets established standards for accuracy and turnaround time. Why You’ll Love This Opportunity Competitive Salary Leadership role with the opportunity to develop and mentor a team Collaborative and professional work environment What You’ll Do Claims Operations & Leadership Oversee daily claims processing operations and departmental workflow Ensure accuracy, efficiency, and turnaround standards are consistently met Hire, train, coach, and develop Claims Department employees Assign work, evaluate performance, and support employee development Establish and maintain claims processing policies, procedures, and guidelines Claims Systems & Reporting Maintain and update health plans within the claims processing system Coordinate system updates, new edits, fee schedules, and coding changes Generate and review productivity and performance reports Monitor processing standards, timelines, and workflow distribution Stay current on industry regulations and changes affecting claims processing What We’re Looking For High school diploma or GED required Previous claims supervision, management, or related leadership experience preferred Strong knowledge of claims administration, regulations, and processing systems Excellent leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills Strong organizational, analytical, and time-management abilities Exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines Professional written, verbal, and presentation skills Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel Knowledge of medical terminology, billing, and coding preferred College degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field preferred Ready to Get Started?
