About the Position

Job Title: Physical Therapy Assistant Profession: PTA (Physical Therapy Assistant) Specialty: Home Health PTA Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8H Days Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS Certification Must-Have: Candidates must have experience with Oasis. Candidates must have one year of experience working in PT, OT, or Speech. Home setting experience is preferred but not required. Description: Mileage will not be paid. This is an all-inclusive position. Candidates will work in home-based care and may interact with PT, OT, and Speech departments. BLS certification is required. The charting system used will be Cerner. Rehab Aides, OTA, and PTA staff will typically be permanent staff. Candidates will be required to work every third weekend. Minor holidays are required, with major holidays only if needed. Business attire with a white lab coat is required; jeans are not permitted. The majority of work hours will be Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM. Candidates will be assigned to a specific geographical region. Floor-specific orientation will last between 1.5 to 2 weeks. Common diagnoses include orthopedic issues, strokes, spinal injuries, and various speech-related conditions. Candidates should be aware of the cancellation policy, which allows for up to 4 shifts to be cancelled per 13-week assignment.
