# Job Opportunity – Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) RN – Texas

Start Date: August 31, 2026

Location: Corpus Christi, Texas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 1:2 or 1:3 patient ratios, 3-4 weekends per month, no on-call required

Highlights:

• 32-bed Level II NICU with experienced 63-member nursing team
• Care for infants ranging from 23 to 40+ weeks gestation
• Advanced equipment including ventilators, oscillators, and Vapotherm
• EMR systems: Centricity Perinatal and Meditech
• Floating opportunities to Level II NICU and Newborn Nursery
• Night shift staffing includes charge nurse, unit clerk, and dedicated bedside nursing team

Requirements:

• Current RN license in Texas (or ability to obtain)
• NICU nursing experience required
• Ventilator experience with premature and term infants (23-40+ weeks gestation) required
• CPR and NRP certifications required
• Oscillator and CPN charting experience preferred
• Experience with intubations, feeding tube insertions, IV insertions, and assisting with eye exams
