Harness Technician B Second Shift - Millennium Space Systems

Position Responsibilities Wire harnesses assembly per NASA.STD.8739.4A Use harness‑related tools such as soldering irons, crimpers, hot tweezers, etc. Test wire harnesses with equipment such as high‑potential testers, multimeters, force gauges Assemble electrical ground support equipment Set up test equipment Assist in performing second‑party verifications and visually inspect harness assemblies to drawings, engineering specifications, and written procedures Ensure product quality and conformance to specifications Document non‑conformances and associated rework/repair Meet necessary certifications as required Perform incidental related duties as assigned or required Job Requirements Basic Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Minimum 6 months’ experience as a technician in aerospace or equivalent industry and/or trade school training Experience using hand tools, repairing and troubleshooting electronic components Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance requiring U.S. Citizenship; interim and/or final clearance post‑start required Preferred Qualifications Certified MSS08014‑102‑SOP Rev B Harnessing Build Standard Practices and Inspection Experience working in 100,000‑class cleanrooms with ESD‑sensitive components Shift & Location This role is primarily second shift with potential additional shift requirements. The position is 100% onsite at one of the listed location options. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at any shift, as assigned. Security Clearance & Export Control Must meet Export Control compliance requirements per 22 C.F.R. §120.15. “US Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
